The Blak Queens Movement
Blak Queens - The Movement (the movement)
Blak Queens is more than jewellery, more than merch and more than a brand, it is a movement towards a better future for our women, children, families and communities.
I have created this movement to work towards changing the narrative of how Blak women are treated in our homes, families, communities, workplaces, social settings and the wider community.
The mistreatment of Blak women started when we were invaded and unfortunately still continues today in almost every space, we are in.
For over 230 years our women have been treated with disrespect, abuse and violence. We are one of the most discriminated against people in the world and I'm more than sick of it.
I believe that we as sovereign Blak women, girls and boorais (babies) is something very special and we deserve nothing less than to be treated with love, kindness, and respect.
It's time to change the narrative!
We can't do this alone
We need our Men to join us for this journey, to support and commit to the movement. There are deadly Blak Kings in our communities that treat our women like Blak Queens already, we see you, we acknowledge, love and respect you. We need you to join us and help share the message of the movement. We can't do it without you.
Further information will come on how to join the movement and support us soon. (lil hint, Blak Kings you will get your tops and jewellery range to support the movement too!)
We also need your support to break this cycle and change the narrative, by supporting and committing to the movement you are helping share the message to wider communities. We need you to walk with us.
Further information will come on how to join the movement and support us soon. (lil hint, Allys you will get your tops and jewellery range to support the BQ movement too!)
Workshops and Information sessions
- Workshops will be held with Women to connect with your inner birth right as Blak Queens through yarning, learning, and creating your very own crown.
- Information sessions can be held with others who would like to support the Blak Queens movement (Men's groups, community groups, organisation's, business's, corporate and government)
